Target Marketing Email
These are promotional marketing emails that provide guests with the latest trending content and deals that are going on at Target. I was the lead designer on the redesign of our templates that we use today. The evolution is visualized below. I infused more color, a simpler layout and structure that ultimately is an extremely flexible system that highlights our quality product photography.

Holiday email
We were given the challenge of creating a special holiday experience that would cut through the clutter of our regular promotional content of the season. We partnered with the Gift Ideas experience to create a dedicated email for kids’ gifting.
Triggered email: Category browse
We completely redesigned our triggered email templates this year and started with a few of our most popular templates. The first is our category browse emails. These are sent to a guest when they have browsed a category on the site, but did not place a specific item in their cart. This triggers the email to remind the guest of the category they were interested in as well as a few other suggested items. In our redesign, we’ve also provided some additional information about our services we offer to make buying an even easier task for the guest.
Triggered email: abandoned Cart
Our other template redesign is the abandoned cart triggered email. You would receive this email if you placed an item in your cart, but did not purchase it. We saw an opportunity to make the products more heroic and add additional value to the guest with rating stars and promotional information. The new design clearly differentiates the items left in the cart from the suggested smart recommendations below.
